“Typically recognized for her abstract work evoking the colors and movement of nature, Lysa embarked on a new and profound artistic exploration upon the arrival of motherhood in her life.

The exhibited works will reveal a palpable shift in her approach, reflected by the complexity of the parental role through the accumulation of layers of paint.

The brighter contrasts of colors in these new creations symbolize the inherent contradictions and surprises of motherhood.

Each brushstroke seems to capture the essence of initial experiences, evoking the intense emotions accompanying the birth of a child. Abstraction takes on a whole new meaning here, exploring the complex and infinite aspects of parenthood, omnipresent in Lysa Jordan's life for over a year now.
